Survey input is concluded as of Friday, May 11, 2007 at noon. Thank you for the great responses so far! The results are currently being tabulated and analyzed. The findings will be posted on this website.

The Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee sponsored this Survey of Athens-Clarke County. The survey instrument itself was tuned to gather information from the community defining the community's vision, values, goals, policies, priorities, and implementation strategies. Information was collected regarding potential issues and opportunities relating to the Comprehensive Plan, particularly population, economic development, natural and cultural resources, community services, housing, land use, transportation and intergovernmental coordination.

The desirable outcome will capture results that statistically reflect the population of Athens-Clarke County in terms of geography, age, racial background and income level through survey forms mailed to representative households.

In addition to the sample survey - Anyone with an interest in the future of Athens-Clarke County was able to take this survey online.

Your participation in this survey was important and will help to determine the direction of services and development in Athens-Clarke County. This survey did not collect any information that would allow us to link any responses back to you or any other individual.

If you have any questions or comments about the survey, please contact Julie Morgan at juliemorgan@co.clarke.ga.us or 706-613-3515.
