The Neighborhood Advisory Committee was established in conjunction with the Neighborhood Notification Initiative in order to monitor the success of notification improvements and to recommend to the Mayor & Commission any next steps in Neighborhood Planning. Formed during the first six months of the NNI, the NAC met for approximately one year, concluding their work with a report to the Mayor & Commission that summarized their observations, concerns and findings regarding the NNI and neighborhood planning in general. Appointed by Mayor Heidi Davison, these individuals represent the eight (8) regular and two (2) super commission districts. Some reside within organized neighborhoods with active associations and others reside in unorganized or organizing areas.
