A Tree Management Plan is required for new multi-family and commercial developments, many additions to buildings or sites improvements on existing developments, the submittal of a preliminary plat, the review of a Land Disturbance Activity Permit, and may be needed when submitting a Notice of Timber Harvest.

The Athens-Clarke County Corridor Management Strategy takes a broad view of the county’s corridors with the intention of articulating a consistent approach to applying design guidelines for corridor management.
